The services are categorised into four main areas:

These include eating disorders, mood disorders and anxiety disorders including obsessive compulsive disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

The Acorn Programme is a Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) informed Therapeutic Community. The services comprise of three linked units offering the individual an opportunity to recover in an open supportive environment which matches their needs. Each person is assessed and accepted on to the unit appropriate to their current requirements, and may move between units during their recovery.

Hannah and Esther offer four intensive recovery programmes supporting people towards independent living.

Blair Atholl is a community based service for people requiring longer term placements with a rehabilitative environment.

Specialist Older People’s Service

This service provides care for elderly people with challenging behaviour or whose behaviour presents difficulties to their carers in a more ordinary setting. This may include wandering, aggression or anti-social behaviour. Our multidisciplinary team is skilled at understanding and resolving challenging behaviours, and at supporting the person to recover a sense of their own identity. They can support the restoration of damaged relationships.

Men and women have their own separate units to ensure the environment is both stimulating and safe.
